Scripture References

Reverently imagined and faithful to the Gospels, Those Women takes us on a journey from Capernaum to Calvary with two previoiusly unnamed women - Hadas, whom Jesus healed of a twelve-year haemorrhage, and her friend Zizel, Simon Peter's wife.

"This is not sentimental formula writing. North has produced a well-crafted literary work that will be read for the sheer pleasure  of curling up with a good book as well as for its insider's view of the Gospels.

God saw all that he had made, and indeed it was very good.

Not perfect. But, very good.

God rested on the seventh day.

Evening came and morning came.

On the eighth day, God said to the man and woman,

Let us fine tune all that has been made.
Evening comes and morning comes,  darkness and light, good and bad,

   God and man – writing.
